Hollund Industrial Marine, Inc. Announces New Marketing Initiative to Accelerate Entry Into Global Underwater Forest Market

BLAINE, WA--(Marketwire - May 25, 2012) - Hollund Industrial Marine, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: HIMR) ("Hollund" or the "Company") today unveiled a core initiative that will be the focus of its marketing efforts moving forward.

"Launching our new Project Team initiative is a very important part of maximizing the efficiency of our marketing efforts for 2012. Because our primary targets are large dams that are spread across the world, it is critical that we geographically optimize our marketing campaigns to increase awareness about our underwater forest recovery services and the positive impact of those services on reservoir based communities," stated Peter Meier, President of Hollund.

Hollund's Reservoir Teams will seek to develop underwater forest and mining concessions in partnership with state and local governments, utilities, and other entities that own or manage large dam reservoirs containing underwater forests and dredge mining opportunities. The Project Teams will further collaborate with experienced partners working in the Mining and Forest Sector, investing its resources and tapping the strengths of its networks to advance the Company's strategic goals.

The International Commission On Large Dams (ICOLD) estimates that there are as many as 48,000 large dams worldwide. A large dam is defined as higher than 15 meters. Mr. Meier stated, "Currently we are performing a detailed analysis of this market, where we are most likely to generate sales, and will immediately shift our team building focus to promote the fastest market entry possible."
