'Hollywood Jay' Rides Again -- Launching a Kickstarter Campaign to Raise Funds to Build the World's Longest Limo -- a 110-ft. Rolls Royce With a Lap Pool and Helicopter Pad

The Legendary Film & TV Custom Car Builder -- Curator of Michael Dezer Hollywood Cars Museum by Jay Ohrberg in Las Vegas -- Aims to Top His Previous Guinness Worlds Records Entry, a 100-ft. Limo That Appeared on "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous"

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwired - Jun 16, 2015) - In the '90s, Jay Ohrberg built a limousine so long that it's been in the Guinness Worlds Records ever since. The limo was 100 ft. long, had 26 wheels, two engines, a pool, Jacuzzi, a helicopter pad, diving board and solar dish.

Now, the legendary custom car builder, designer and collector -- also the curator of the Michael Dezer Hollywood Cars Museum by Jay Ohrberg in Las Vegas (www.hollywoodcarsmuseum.com) -- is aiming for another world record building an even longer limo -- and he's launched a Kickstarter campaign to help raise the funds to build it. (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/469331902/the-worlds-longest-limo-record-to-be-broken). He estimates it will cost $200,000 and require eight months to complete.

In the video on the site, "Hollywood Jay" details his plans for the ambitious new vehicle. Created from several Rolls Royce's, it will be 110 feet long and include a lap pool, helicopter pad and "a lot of wheels."

"Guinness put (the original) in their book and I appeared with it on Johnny Carson and 'Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous,' where we landed a helicopter on it," he says. "We showcased it in over 30 countries, but when it came back five years ago it was damaged badly. Guinness asked me to build a longer and fancier one. Kickstarter is a great opportunity for everyone to be part of this historical event!"

Hollywood Cars Museum is a joint venture with Michael Dezer, one of the world's foremost car collectors and owner of The Dezer Collection (www.dezercollection.com) whose 30,000 sq.-ft. showroom includes a variety of Ohrberg creations for film and TV shows and replicas of many famous vehicles.
