Hollywood Production Center Announces Film Releases -- Enemies Closer and Betrayal -- From Current and Past Tenants

Chic Full-Service Facility Contributes to Success of Lionsgate's Action Thriller and Jack Topalian/Jason Morris Collaboration

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - Jan 21, 2014) - Hollywood Production Center, establishing themselves among the top facilities for immediate occupancy of production, post-production, fully serviced workspace, service office space and filming locations, announced their involvement in the release of two films from current and previous tenants. The action thriller Enemies Closer, set to be released in theaters and video on demand (VOD) on Friday, January 24, represents a feature film that was produced by a current HPC client. Having once worked closely with the creative team behind the new film Betrayal, which marks the second feature film collaboration between actor/producer/writer/director Jack Topalian and writer/director/producer Jason Morris, Hollywood Production Center was thrilled to hear of this movie's imminent release. Betrayal will premiere at the MGN Five Star Cinema in Glendale, CA on Friday, January 24 as well.

Enemies Closer, directed by Peter Hyams and starring Jean-Claude Van Damme, Tom Everett Scott and Orlando Jones, takes place deep within a forest on the U.S.-Canadian border where two sworn enemies must work together to escape a ruthless drug cartel eager to retrieve a shipment that went missing. Trapped in the wilderness with no communication with the outside world, the main character finds himself face-to-face with a man holding a personal vendetta against him who has returned for retribution. The two mortal enemies must make a choice: put aside their past and work together or die alone at the hands of the ruthless gang of drug runners, who will stop at nothing to retrieve their lost cargo.

Set in modern day Los Angeles, Betrayal takes the viewer inside the dark and gritty world of the Armenian and Russian mobs and explores the power, struggles, loyalty and vengeance of the men and women who are a part of it -- while also showing the humanity, sacrifices and choices we all make in life and how those choices affect us and our loved ones.

Hollywood Production Center makes it easy for clients to find suitable filming locations in downtown Glendale or Hollywood -- often considered prime real estate in this regard. HPC boasts four modern locations with same day move-in service and access to office sets, courtyards, rooftops, gyms and patios, and cuts through waiting for permission from building owners or traveling management company executives.

Facility amenities include fully furnished office suites ranging in various sizes; ample parking including valet parking in gated facility; professional reception area and 24-hour security surveillance; pre-installed voice/data and high-speed Internet; office suites with skylights, private kitchens, balconies and private entrances and more.

Hollywood Production Center offers four distinct locations including 1149 North Gower Street in downtown Hollywood, 121 W. Lexington Drive in Glendale, 225 E. Broadway in Glendale and 6350 Santa Monica Boulevard in Hollywood. The facilities can be reached and availability checked by visiting the website at and filling out a form.
