Xomba.com, a Social Networking Site for Writers, Will Host Hollywood Stuntman as Celebrity Judge for Upcoming Writing Contest Titled "Your Dream Job"

JACKSONVILLE, FL--(Marketwire - September 9, 2009) - Xomba.com announced today that Hollywood stuntman Sam Hargrave will be the celebrity judge for their newest writing contest titled, "Your Dream Job."

Sam Hargrave has worked on Hollywood films and shows such as "X-Men Origins: Wolverine," "Pirates of the Caribbean (II and III)," "Heroes," "Entourage" and "Dexter" and he doubled Zach Braff in the TV series "Scrubs."

"I am living my dream," said Hargrave. "I'm glad stunts are my job, but I've said it before that I'd probably do it for free."

Hargrave will be judging Xomba's writing contest in which Xomba members are asked to respond to the question "If you could choose any job in the world, what would it be and why?"

"In this economy we're seeing people who are thankful for any job," said Nick Veneris, the CEO of Xomba.com. "Some are stuck in jobs they don't enjoy, while others are stuck with no job at all. We want to hear about the jobs people dream they could have."

Xomba.com is a social networking site where writers earn money online by publishing magazine-like articles and summaries on links which interest them. With features such as the ability to share, vote for and bookmark favorites, users can keep up with each other and make friends with other writers, all while marketing their work.

"Through this contest we're hoping to allow our users to use their imagination and envision a whole new life, a life of which they have always dreamed," said Veneris. "For many of our members, writing is a dream job and Xomba.com is doing everything possible to help them live out their dreams."

Over the last three months, the number of Xomba.com's global users has increased by 16.2%. The site's top writers bring in anywhere from $300-$500 per month depending on the impact their articles make on the Xomba community.

Contest participants are asked to submit 150 word articles by Midnight on November 9th and must be members of Xomba.com; membership on Xomba.com is free. For more information about this contest visit Xomba's Dream Job contest information.
