Home Federal Bancorp, Inc. Declares Quarterly Cash Dividend

NAMPA, ID -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 15, 2007 -- Home Federal Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: HOME), the parent company of Home Federal Bank, announced today that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.055 per share on its common stock. The dividend will be paid on March 15, 2007 to stockholders of record as of March 1, 2007.

"Home Federal has performed well by continuing to gain market share and taking advantage of growth opportunities," said Daniel L. Stevens, President, Chairman, and CEO of the Company. "The result, I am pleased to report, will be the distribution of our eighth consecutive dividend since becoming public in December of 2004," continued Stevens. Home Federal Bancorp's first quarter highlights (at or for the periods ended December 31, 2006 compared to December 31, 2005):

--  Interest and dividend income increased 17% to $10.9 million
--  Total assets increased 10% to $767.6 million
--  Net loans increased 16% to $511.6 million
--  Non-performing assets decreased from $180,000 to zero
Stevens said Home Federal's 2007 business plan calls for continued growth, profitability and leveraging the company's capital.
