Homeland Integrated Security Systems Has Record Month for iDen Cyber Tracker Sales in 2006

ASHEVILLE, NC -- (MARKET WIRE) -- October 11, 2006 --Homeland Integrated Security Systems, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: HISC) is pleased to announce that the Company has achieved record performance for Cyber Tracker sales and purchase orders in the month of September. Purchase orders for a total of 1,611 Cyber Trackers were recorded for the month, with 211 delivered and the balance scheduled through 2006 and early 2007. Cyber Tracker deliveries and purchase orders for September represent approximately $800,000.00 in potential revenue for 2006 and early 2007. The largest purchase order was from Bravo, an iDen carrier in Saudi Arabia, who is rapidly building a pipeline of sales activity. Bravo has already issued a second delivery request on its purchase order.

The Cyber Tracker is currently operating on tug boats, in police cars, airplanes, tow trucks, street sweepers, multiple utility companies, concrete trucks, dump trucks, delivery trucks and school buses. Applications include installations in vehicles for monitoring speed, braking action, interior temperature, signaling and the provision of providing reactive data communications for fleet management and proactive communications for the public served. In addition, governmental and commercial customers are now managing performance by receiving key data on street sweepers and heavy equipment. New solutions have developed in providing temperature and humidity alerts in commercial storage facilities and automated telematics for vehicles.

All Homeland Integrated Security shareholders of record as of October 13, 2006 will receive 1 share of Evans Systems, Inc. for every 50 shares of HISC they own as of the record date. The dividend in Evans Systems is expected to be valued at approximately $0.50 per share. Evans Systems has recently been trading in the $0.50 to $0.75 per share range. Homeland Integrated Security Systems announced that the corresponding payment date for the dividend will take place on October 25, 2006.
