Homeland Precious Metals Corp. Provides Update On Nevada Project

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Sept. 6, 2007) - Homeland Precious Metals Corp. (OTCBB:HPMEF) is pleased to report that data interpretation has been finalized for the previously announced Gradient Array Induced Polarization ("IP") and Ground Magnetics geophysical surveys at the Water Canyon Project, Nevada.

The collected data outlines a series of six sets of anomalous IP Chargeability highs that are direct analogs of the type of IP expression encountered at Newmont Mining Corporation's ("Newmont") adjacent Mule Canyon Mine. At Mule Canyon, and other similar geologic environments, all known economic mineralization is associated with IP Chargeability highs. The contiguous Mule Canyon Property produced approximately 500,000 ounces of gold from six open pits over a seven-year period. Water Canyon lies along strike, 1.5 miles immediately north of the Mule Canyon open pits.

The six sets of anomalous Water Canyon IP Chargeability highs are interpreted to be excellent exploration targets for Mule Canyon style mineralization. Previous wide spaced drilling at Water Canyon by Goldfields Mining Corporation and Santa Fe Pacific Gold Company confirmed gold mineralization within at least two of the six IP Chargeability highs. A comprehensive set of drill targets have been selected for a 7,500 foot Phase 1 reverse circulation drill program scheduled to begin this Fall.

The Water Canyon property situated in the world renowned Battle Mountain-Eureka Trend of north-central Nevada consists of approximately 2,560 acres (approximately 4 square miles) including 960 acres of private lands and 1600 acres of unpatented mining claims immediately along strike of the Mule Canyon Mine Complex.
