Homeland Security Group International Briefs Key Congressional Representatives and Military Leadership on Latest Business Initatives

SAN DIEGO, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- January 18, 2007 -- Homeland Security Group International (PINKSHEETS: HMSG) announced today that the company has completed a successful briefing trip to Washington DC. HMSG was accompanied on the trip by top officials from FEDCOMM USA and Freedom Is Not Free Foundation. During the meetings HMSG outlined technology advancements designed to enhance the safety, security and lethality of deployed forces. The company also outlined its plans to kickoff a nationwide fundraising drive to assist wounded troops and the families of service members killed in combat.

"This visit was a follow up from our last trip where we briefed house leadership on alternative compounds and technologies available to help better protect our troops and their mechanized transport equipment from the threat of high velocity rounds. We definitely got the attention of military leadership and they requested follow on meetings to be scheduled immediately," commented Mark Wilson, Chief Operating Officer of HMSG.

HMSG will also be assisting the "Freedom Is Not Free" organization kick off their inaugural "Breakfast With Heroes" fund raising event in Washington DC. The fund raising event has received wide support from both the Senate and House of Representatives and the military.
