Homeland Security Group International Teams With videoNEXT to Offer Security for Military Installations and Off-Shore Oil Platforms

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwire - July 9, 2007) - Homeland Security Group International (PINKSHEETS: HMSG) announced today that the company has entered into a teaming agreement to provide security for military installations and off-shore oil platforms in the Gulf Coast region.

Wilson said the agreement was reached Wednesday in San Diego. Under the terms of the agreement, HMSG will represent videoNEXT during contract negotiations for security package contracts aimed at upgrading security on off-shore oil production platforms for a major US oil company in Mississippi. The agreement also allows HMSG to represent videoNEXT during negotiations with west coast shipping ports and military installations.

Representatives from videoNEXT will be present and participating with HMSG during Operation Golden Phoenix, a combined disaster response exercise, from 21-26 July. Wilson said that HMSG is in negotiations with two other companies who offer either disaster response logistics or training and facilities support.
