Homeless Teens Get a Helping Hand From Las Vegas' Largest Mixer With First-Ever "Jeans Drive"

Business Professionals Clean Out Their Closets to Help Homeless, At-Risk Youth

LAS VEGAS, NV -- (MARKET WIRE) -- September 11, 2006 --


WHAT: Business "networkers" come together to help homeless and at-risk youth get clothes for the school year. Las Vegas' Largest Mixer is launching the first-ever "Jeans Drive" to provide children and teens with school clothes through local charities. The event organizers are asking attendees to bring men's, women's and children's jeans of any and all sizes in wearable condition to the event. Each pair of jeans can be redeemed for a raffle ticket to win fantastic prizes like dinners, spa treatments and gift certificates to some of Las Vegas' best retailers.

WHO: Goodwill of Southern Nevada and The Corps of Compassion will be the beneficiaries of this effort, being able to use the jeans raised to help families in the Las Vegas community.

WHY: Thousands of children have started school in Clark County who don't have the clothes they need for school.

WHEN: Tuesday, September 19, 2006 from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
