HomeSnap Satisfies Home Buying Curiosity

App Downloaded Over 160,000 Times as Housing Market Improves

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Jun 21, 2012) - Digital Experience! -- Online real estate broker Sawbuck Realty ( today announced that its HomeSnap app has reached more than 160,000 downloads in just over three months since its debut. The company credits the widespread use of HomeSnap in part to the improving housing market and consumers' growing thirst for real estate information. The app spent much of the time since launch as one of the top lifestyle apps on the iTunes store.

Inspired by the innovative Shazam music app, HomeSnap provides a unique and effortless experience for the merely curious or the serious house hunter. By simply snapping a photo of any of 90M homes across the U.S., users can instantly find out all about it, from price and square footage, to nearby schools and tax details.

"HomeSnap is about discovery," said Sawbuck co-founder and CEO, Guy Wolcott. "Many other real estate apps feature search capabilities for home buyers, while HomeSnap rewards curiosity and real-world exploration for buyers and browsers alike."
