Viewers Enter Online Sweepstakes for SUV, Rate Laugh Factory Regular, Kentucky Native; 'Rockstars of Comedy' Concert DVD Set for Sept. 16 Release

HOLLYWOOD, CA--(Marketwire - July 12, 2008) - Rockstars of Comedy™, LLC announced today that Stevie D. -- a regular at the Laugh Factory and producer/host of the comedy concert film "Rockstars of Comedy" featuring Adrianne Curry and six of America's most raucous stand-up headliners -- is this week's featured comic for Honda's Last Comic Driving ad campaign that airs during NBC's "Last Comic Standing."

Stevie D. is one of 10 stand-up comics selected from a national pool of generally invite-only auditions to effectively compete for viewer votes to earn the distinction of Last Comic Driving as part of Honda's ad campaign for its Pilot SUV.

The ads take viewers inside the SUV as each week's featured comic delivers a 30-second routine to a car full of comics as the host drives. Viewers are asked to visit NBC's Website to watch the commercial, rate the featured comic and enter for a chance to win a new Honda Pilot -- a process they can repeat once a day. Online voting for Stevie D. ends just before 9 p.m. ET on Thursday, July 17.

The winner of the Last Comic Driving contest will be featured on the season finale of "Last Comic Standing." To watch Stevie D.'s commercial and vote, visit

Stevie D. used his budding rock-star days growing up in Owensboro, Ky. as material for the commercial that aired on Thursday, July 10.

"I had my hair flip down, so I'm feeling pretty good about the whole thing," said Stevie D., who's appeared on E! and SPIKE TV. "It's all in America's hands now."

Stevie D. is also in production on The Stevie D. Show, which gives viewers behind-the-scenes access to concerts and red-carpet events throughout L.A. and features live celebrity interviews.

"We basically kick it with some of the biggest stars out there and get real, off-the-cuff interviews," Stevie D. said. "We're not chasing anyone down and nothing's scripted."
