Hoover's Enhanced List-Building Capabilities Make Targeted Prospecting Easier

Build A List Pro™ Introduces Pertinent Criteria for Quick List Refinement

AUSTIN, TX--(Marketwire - March 8, 2011) -  Hoover's, Inc. today announced the rollout of its enhanced list-building tool, Build A List Pro™ (BAL Pro™), which makes it easy for sales professionals and marketers to build more effective prospect lists in less time.

The expanded product provides sales and marketing professionals with access to hard-to-find list-building criteria, advanced list suppression capabilities and more download refinement options. Hoover's customers now can build more precise lists, faster, for use in territory planning and email, direct mail and outbound call campaigns.

Hoover's® Build A List Pro Features

  • Ability to upload files of DUNS numbers, ZIP codes, Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) codes and North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes for global exclusion and one-time exclusion criteria to further refine list results for greater accuracy.
  • Access to new list criteria to develop more targeted campaigns, including franchise ownership, company legal structure, exclusion of home-based businesses and inclusion of companies with ZIP +4 codes.
  • Ability to download a subset of records or a random sample of records to run test marketing campaigns.
  • Bulk tagging of company records to designate predetermined sales territories for territory planning.
