Horizon Healthcare Services, Inc. Finds "Single Source of Truth" With the Product Machine

The Product Machine From FJA, a Key Element of Horizon Healthcare Services, Inc. Central Product Library Initiative, Is Being Deployed to Streamline Product Configuration and Improve Operational Efficiencies

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - June 15, 2010) -  As a way to centralize product information on a unified platform, Horizon Healthcare Services, Inc. (Horizon), the oldest and largest health insurer in the state of New Jersey, has licensed Product Machine and three other supporting applications -- Plan Configurator, Group Configurator and Benefit Query from FJA. The products are being used to support Horizon's Central Product Library Initiative that will ensure a single and consistent source of truth for health and prescription drug products. Phase 1 of Horizon's Library Initiative recently went into production for employer groups with 51-99 members.

"The new products provided by FJA will allow Horizon to better serve our members by providing us with quicker access to accurate information on our health and prescription drug products," said Pranav Mehta, Director of Service Operations, Horizon. "Horizon values the collaboration that FJA has demonstrated through Phase 1 of the implementation process."

"Horizon and FJA worked closely to build a comprehensive product component library for delivery across the enterprise," said Marc Dutton, Managing Director, FJA. "The teamwork between Horizon and FJA has been exemplary. We are delighted to see Horizon bring this Phase of their initiative into production."

With the successful implementation of Phase 1, Horizon will now focus on addressing aspects of the healthcare reform and subsequent phases of their Central Product Library Initiative. FJA and Horizon will continue to work closely to bring the remaining health, prescription drug and dental products onto the new unified product platform.
