Horizon Media Hires Jared Gruner as VP, Managing Director

Communications Planner and Industry Strategist Joins Agency's WHY Group in Los Angeles

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - January 30, 2015) - Horizon Media, the largest and fastest growing privately held media services agency in the world, announced today that is has hired Jared Gruner as Vice President, Managing Director of The WHY Group, responsible for strategic consumer thought leadership. Jared will report to the Chief of The WHY Group, Sheri Roder, and Serena Duff, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the agency's Los Angeles office. Jared will be based in Los Angeles.

Most recently, Jared consulted for Beats by Dre. Prior to that, Jared was Director of Integrated Strategy and Planning at Ogilvy where he was responsible for consumer insights on brands that include Qualcomm, Cisco, Sony, Covered California, among others. Gruner was previously Managing Partner at Ogilvy and also previously held senior positions at Naked Communications.
