Horizon Media's Scout Sports Marketing and Entertainment Named Global Sports Marketing Agency of Record For Schneider Electric

Agency's Work for Brand Includes Las Vegas Arena's First Founding Partner Deal

Scout has been charged with sports marketing strategy, activation and measurement for Schneider Electric worldwide.

The agency will serve as the global nerve center for all sports-related sponsorship activity for Schneider Electric. Scout is charged with leading the global sports marketing strategy for the brand as it seeks to increase brand awareness. The sports agency's New York office will handle multi-media sports and entertainment partnerships, managing partnership procurement, negotiation, valuation, activation, hospitality, and measurement and ROI analysis.

Since being awarded the business, Scout has developed several high profile international sponsorship deals and local event initiatives. This month Scout orchestrated a formal, multi-year agreement for Schneider Electric to become the first "Founding Partner" of the new Las Vegas Arena currently under construction and jointly owned by partners AEG and MGM Resorts International. The Founding Partner agreement calls for Schneider Electric to design, install and operate numerous technology-based systems throughout the venue. This includes lighting, the complete electrical infrastructure, metering (gas, water and power), HVAC, building security, power management and building automation.

Scout has additionally developed a deal that makes Schneider Electric a partner in the "We Build Daytona" marketing platform, part of the $400 million DAYTONA Rising redevelopment project. In this partnership, Schneider Electric will provide a view into all critical infrastructure systems through its EcoStruxure solution, driving brand awareness while also providing a real-world showcase of Schneider Electric's technology. As part of the deal, Schneider Electric will also provide solutions including power distribution, electrical metering, building management controls and further integration of elevators, escalators, lighting, fire systems and generators. 

For the third year running, Schneider Electric is the title sponsor of the Paris Marathon, now dubbed the Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris. Scout will also provide activation and measurement support for the marathon in 2015 and beyond.
