NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - March 19, 2014) - Horizon Media, one of the largest and fastest growing media services agencies in the world, is pleased to announce it has received The 4A's O'Toole Media Award for Media Excellence in the "Large Agency" category. The O'Toole Media Awards are presented to the 4A's member agencies that consistently drive media excellence through innovation, transformation and creativity in media. Winners were announced yesterday by The 4A's at the association's annual conference, Transformation: The Idea Effect at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles.
"It's an honor to be recognized by our industry peers," said Bill Koenigsberg, President, CEO and Founder of Horizon. "However, we are most proud that our clients trust us with their brands and that together we have enjoyed some of the longest and most successful partnerships in the industry."
"I congratulate Bill and Horizon on winning the O'Toole Media award," said 4A's President-CEO Nancy Hill. "Horizon's work consistently goes beyond the criterion that we set for the O'Toole's and that is why they are so deserving of this win."
In keeping with the overall mission of the 4A's O'Toole Awards, the Media Excellence category awards an agency for the creative and innovative work it has created on behalf of brands. The O'Toole Awards are comprehensive in scope and rather than reward one single campaign, the program honors an agency's overall level of creative excellence across its entire body of work over the year. Winners are announced across three categories, which include large agency; mid-sized agency and; small agency awards.
Joe Apprendi, CEO of Collective and founding sponsor of the Media Awards, presented the "Large Agency" O'Toole Media Award to Serena Duff, EVP, General Manager of Horizon Los Angeles on Tuesday, March 18.
Proceeds of the O'Toole Awards are donated to the 4A's Foundation, Inc. A primary goal of the foundation is to award scholarships to multicultural students of the advertising arts.
