Horn Group Expands Interactive Design Practice

Horn Group ID Adds New Services, Sector Focus, Talent to Complement Public Relations

David Fausel Joins as Vice President to Lead Business Development and Operations

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - September 21, 2010) -  Horn Group, Inc., a top digital communications agency, today announced the expansion of its award-winning design and development practice -- now called Horn Group ID (Interactive Design). To support its growth, Horn Group has hired digital marketing expert David Fausel as Vice President of Interactive Business responsible for business development, strategy and operations.

Horn Group is one of the first PR agencies to identify the need for visual communications services and original content as integrated components of public relations campaigns. Established in 2003, today Horn Group ID boasts over 100 client projects, an in-house team of programmers, designers and project/client managers, and services that contribute roughly 20 percent of the agency's total billings.

More Services and Capabilities
In addition to its trademark services like custom web design, corporate identity, and design for print, presentations and advertising, Horn Group ID now offers mobile application development with two eminent launches for iPhone. In response to client demand, the practice also offers extensive video creation capabilities through the agency's in-house video studios as well as motion graphics, including recently completed product videos for BitDefender and marketing videos for Conductor, Marketo and YuMe with more on the way.

Interactive Design Leadership Team
Adding to its leadership team, Horn Group has hired David Fausel who starts October 4, 2010. During the past 15 years, Fausel has worked at the top creative and digital marketing agencies in New York and represented dozens of global brands across automotive, financial services, leisure and luxury, and technology industries. He has led business development, creative and technical teams in branding, interactive marketing, social media and public relations. He spent the last six years at kirshenbaum bond senecal + partners where he led integrated marketing campaigns for Panasonic, Diageo, Mohegan Sun and Time Warner, among many others. He held previous positions at Ogilvy & Mather, Lowe & Partners/SMS, Weiden + Kennedy and Publicis & Hal Riney.

Fausel will work closely with Michael Mancuso, who becomes VP of Creative Strategy responsible for design innovation and creative client strategy. Both positions report to Horn Group President and CEO Sabrina Horn.

Expanded Sector Focus
As part of its expansion, Horn Group ID now works with companies in any industry that want differentiated branding, visuals or custom web applications. The practice has new client engagements in the healthcare, consumer and publishing industries. This is the first time Horn Group is actively targeting sectors beyond the technology and digital media industries.
