Hospitality Groups Standardize on PrinterOn Guest Printing Service

KITCHENER, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - June 20, 2005) -

In 2004, more than 1,000,000 pages were printed by hotel guests using the PrinterOn Guest Printing Service.

PrinterOn Corporation - There's a new standard in guest amenities. Secure and flexible, the PrinterOn Guest Printing Service is simple to install and easy to use. Hospitality service providers and ownership groups have standardized on the PrinterOn Guest Printing Service and are rolling it out to all current and future customers.

Days Inn for Business Alliance and First Hospitality Group ownership groups, and business center providers GBCblue, Showcase Business Centers, Uniguest and Vertical Systems Inc. understand the value PrinterOn adds to the services they provide to their customers and to hotel guests.

"There's a distinct segment of traveler that requires both a PC workstation and printing service while on the road," says Shawn Thomas, President of Uniguest. "The Uniguest and PrinterOn solutions complement each other extremely well by providing a one-stop shop for computing services." Uniguest bundles the Guest Printing Service with their own solution in what Thomas calls "an ideal fit" in self-service technology that assures guests have PC uptime and printer access while on the road.

Business center providers GBCblue, Showcase Business Centers, Uniguest and Vertical Systems Inc. have standardized on the PrinterOn Guest Printing Service as their solution of choice because it is:

Secure and flexible - Print job release options are confidential, and automatic release can include an optional keypad release device.

Customizable - From any location guests enter the system through a fully, branded printing service webpage that can display up to seven printers simultaneously.

Supported - PrinterOn provides a high level of knowledgeable and responsive, service and support.

In making PrinterOn their standard guest printing service, hospitality service providers and ownership groups are recognizing the needs of a growing business traveler market that includes:

- Laptop users unable to connect to existing network printers.

- Wireless users who can't view or output email attachments.

- Business travelers who need hardcopy of crucial documents.

David Reynolds, VP of Sales, Showcase Business Centers says PrinterOn has become a standard service on all his company's computer systems. "With the addition of PrinterOn's web-based printing service, laptop users now have the ability to print to the business center from their guest rooms, lobby, meeting rooms, etc. User generated print job release codes provide the security and the convenience of retrieving the print job at any time. The flexibility of the service and the responsiveness of their partner support made it an easy choice for us to standardize on PrinterOn."

Knowing that one configuration does not fit all, the PrinterOn Guest Printing Service can be fully customized to conform to the brand specifications and service models of any organization or service provider. Flexibility is built in. Important information about what the service offers - from supporting multiple printers to pickup & delivery options to hours of operation to cost - are programmed onto the home page giving users more control to manage their own print job.

"As part of the 24/7 fully automated business center," says Saeed Kazmi, CEO, Vertical Systems, Inc. "The PrinterOn solution allows guests to print files from their rooms and come to the business center in the hotel to pick them up in a secure fashion.

"Providing a printer in every room is not economical or feasible for hotels. By providing secure, in-room guest printing in its business centers, Vertical Systems Inc. fulfills a key requirement of mobile users in hotels," Kazmi says.

Victor Alikin, Chief Executive Officer, Global Business Center Inc. sees similar value in the service. "PrinterOn lets us provide one solution for all guest computing needs," says Alikin. "It rounds out our product suite. PrinterOn allows GBCblue to leverage its base of installed printers by allowing multiple computers to print to a single device."

PrinterOn has achieved brand standard status with many customer properties and is poised to meet growing demand.

The Guest Printing Service answers directly to the needs of any user who wants to increase their productivity with secure, instant, high-resolution, hardcopy document delivery. For hospitality enterprises themselves, the benefits are just as great: Guests are responding to the value-added amenity with increased
loyalty.

PrinterOn also offers turnkey solutions for hotels that do not have a business center.

PrinterOn will be demonstrating the latest features of its Guest Printing Service at the HITEC Show, Staples Convention Center, Los Angeles, June 21 - 23, Booth #1221.
