Hospitality Industry Veteran Joins Villa Del Mar Turks & Caicos to Oversee Expansion, Enhance Guest Services

Alan Lawley Brings 20+ Years of Operations Experience to Boutique Luxury Resort in the Caribbean

PROVIDENCIALES, TURKS and CAICOS ISLANDS--(Marketwire - October 15, 2010) -  Villa del Mar, a luxury, boutique hotel in the heart of world-renowned Grace Bay in the Turks and Caicos Islands, today announced the appointment of Alan M. Lawley as development director and operations manager. In this new role, Lawley will focus on expanding the resort's range of guest services, and oversee the second phase of development at the popular condo-hotel style property. Lawley joins Villa del Mar from Pacrim Hospitality Inc., a leading hotel operator in North America, where he managed one of the company's most successful property portfolios and spearheaded special projects. Prior to Pacrim, he was General Manager and Director of Operations with several exclusive, award-winning resorts in Western Canada, such as Emerald Lake Lodge Resort and Conference Center in Yoho National Park, as well as resorts operated by Sunset Resorts/Grand Canadian Resorts International and Marriott International Inc.
