Host Analytics Achieves Record Growth in the First Half of 2011

More Companies Turn to Host Analytics for Innovative On-Demand CPM Solutions; Leads to Record Bookings and Increased Demand

REDWOOD CITY, CA--(Marketwire - Aug 22, 2011) - Host Analytics, the leading provider of SaaS-based corporate performance management (CPM) solutions, today announced record growth for the first half of 2011. Led by new product innovations and increased demand for SaaS-based CPM solutions, Host Analytics boosted revenues, welcomed new customers and added employees to meet increased demand.

Businesses look to SaaS-offerings especially in finance and budgeting to give them advantages previously available only from pricey, traditional, on-premise software vendors, and this trend is helping fuel Host Analytics' growth. The company's CPM offerings bring affordable and easy to implement solutions to companies looking to manage their financial operations, drive fact based decisions and add rigor into financial processes.

Record Quarter Includes Corporate, Customer and Product Milestones

Highlights for the first half of 2011 included:

  • Product Innovation -- A benefit of Software as a Service is the ability to provide customers with frequent new products and features without costly upgrades or consulting. Host Analytics delivered on this promise by adding 60 new features to its CPM solutions in the first half of the year. Additionally, the company launched its innovative Decision Hub product, which brings in external financial drivers to the Host Analytics CPM Suite. It incorporates economic indicators, benchmarking data and currency exchange rates. All told, the service aggregates more than 13,000 data points and indicators such as housing starts, Consumer Price Index, employee labor costs, and financial statements submitted to the SEC's Edgar database. Decision Hub is helping customers improve decision making, speed financial analysis, and increase business process consistency.

  • Customer Growth -- Customer booking growth more than doubled from Q2 2010 to Q2 2011. The momentum brought a wealth of new customers to the roster including ABS-CBN, Boys and Girls Club of Greater Washington, Impax Laboratories, Marketo, MarkWest Energy Partners, MSCI, Nextag and WelchAllyn.

  • Partnerships -- As a leader in SaaS-based CPM, partnerships are important to the Host Analytics ecosystem. The company doubled its partner activity and brought on new partners in Clearly Business, Obix Software, Plex Online and Stafford Technologies, while strengthening its relationship with a leading full-service accounting and advisory firm, Baker Tilly*.

  • Talent Acquisition -- Host Analytics continues to scale the company, increasing its headcount by 50 percent in the last 12 months.

  • Awards and Recognition -- Gartner Research once again recognized Host Analytics in its 2011 Magic Quadrant for Corporate Performance Management Suites. Host Analytics was also named an AlwaysOn OnDemand 100 Top Private Company, made the Red Herring Top 100 North America list and received finalist placement in the 2011 CODiE Awards. Additionally, Kelly Battles, CFO for the company, was recognized by Network Products Guide as Finance Executive of the Year.
