Host Analytics Appoints Ian Halifax as CFO

Accomplished Technology CFO Joins Cloud-Based Enterprise Performance Management Leader


REDWOOD CITY, CA--(Marketwired - Aug 22, 2013) - Host Analytics, the leader in cloud-based enterprise performance management (EPM), today announced the appointment of Ian Halifax as Chief Financial Officer. Ian brings over 25 years of finance and operational experience at high-growth technology companies, consistently helping companies achieve scale, market leadership, and profitability.

Ian brings vast experience in fast-growing software and solutions companies to Host Analytics. Most recently, Ian was CFO at Grass Valley, a leading privately-held provider of technology solutions for broadcast media companies. Prior to that, he spent four years as CFO at Wind River Systems, a publicly-traded company providing embedded operating systems software, driving significant increases in revenue and profitability prior to its sale to Intel. He was also CFO at Micromuse, a publicly-traded provider of network management software, where he led the turnaround of the company prior to its acquisition by IBM. As CFO at Macrovision, he helped the company grow from less than $50M in revenues in 1999 to over $200M in revenues in 2004. In the early part of his career, he held numerous finance positions at technology companies including Sun Microsystems and Wang Labs, as well as spending time at KPMG. Educated in the United Kingdom, he holds a BA from the University of York and an MBA from Henley Management College. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Management Accountant.
