Host Analytics Offers Webinar Series to Help Finance Professionals Navigate XBRL Fundamentals

First Event -- Introduction to XBRL/Interactive Data Tags -- Scheduled for Wednesday, January 13

REDWOOD CITY, CA--(Marketwire - January 12, 2010) - Host Analytics, the leading provider of cloud-based corporate performance management (CPM) solutions, today announced plans for a series of free webinars aimed at helping finance professionals understand and manage new Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) rules regarding data filing and the extensible business reporting language (XBRL). The first event -- Introduction to XBRL/Interactive Data Tags -- is scheduled for Wednesday, January 13 at 10:00 a.m. PST. Interested parties can sign up here: https://www1.gotomeeting.com/register/118389657.

Most finance professionals are aware of the SEC's mandate that companies must file exhibits (or "instance documents") to their quarterly and annual financial reports using XBRL. But many executives remain confused as to what this means and how best to handle the requirement. The Host Analytics webinar series will help finance professionals navigate the complexities of XBRL so they can file instance documents easily and successfully.

Host Analytics is offering the webinar series in conjunction with NeoClarus director of Interactive Data Services, Stuart Zatkow, an expert in instance document reporting and U.S. GAAP taxonomies, which he helped to create and update. Zatkow has been providing training and other XBRL services to all levels of reporting personnel, third-party instance document prepares, and software vendors since early 2008.

Following is an overview of the Host Analytics XBRL webinar series. For more information finance professionals are encouraged to visit http://www.hostanalytics.com/News-Events/Events_xbrl.aspx.
