Hosted Application Management Company, OneNeck, Signs Three-Year Contract With Hermes Sargent Bates Law Firm to Host Highly Secured Virtual and Physical Environment

OneNeck to Provide a Highly Secured Infrastructure to Manage Sensitive Attorney/Client Information for the Texas Based, Southwest Law Firm

SCOTTSDALE, AZ--(Marketwire - Apr 27, 2011) - Hosted application management and managed services company, OneNeck, announced today that it has entered into a three-year contract with Hermes Sargent Bates LLP. Under the terms of the contract, OneNeck will host their Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory and Hummingbird eDocs environments, providing them with application administration, database administration, operating system administration, network management, security management, 24/7 support center services and infrastructure management.

OneNeck will provide the facilities, infrastructure, and services to operate and support Hermes Sargent Bates' servers, network and bandwidth, database, storage, and security through its data center solutions team. By providing full IT support and system administration, the Hermes Sargent Bates' staff will afford greater productivity, cost effectiveness, and a 99.9% uptime guarantee.

Due to a growing national concern with the importance of record management and retention by HIPAA and Sarbanes Oxley, it is more important than ever for legal firms and business companies to develop and implement appropriate record retention policies. A sound policy ensures records that serve important business or legal interests are maintained and remain relatively easy to access. Through best practices, ITIL based processes, and highly experienced personnel, OneNeck will support these policies by effectively managing Hermes Sargent Bates' email, faxing, and document retention applications. Additionally, OneNeck is providing the following upgrades for Hermes Sargent Bates: Exchange email, SQL platform, and moving their document management platform to their high availability virtual private server farm. Furthermore, OneNeck will provide technology expertise during Hermes Sargent Bates' on-site user desktop refresh.
