WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwire - May 23, 2011) - HotAir.com has expanded its team to reach new heights within our nation's capital.
Tina Korbe has been hired by HotAir.com to be on the scene in Washington D.C. Korbe joins Ed Morrissey and the anonymous Allapundit in the reporting, writing, and delivering of the most pertinent news in the world of conservative politics. HotAir.com is the strongest conservative blog on the web today; continuously bringing the online conservative community the most comprehensive and in-depth political news coverage.
"We're thrilled at the addition of Tina Korbe to our already stellar team at HotAir.com," said Jonathan Garthwaite, General Manager of Townhall.com/HotAir.com. "We have long admired her work at the Heritage Foundation. Most recently we marveled at her reporting from Wisconsin on the public workers protests. We know she will bring the same level of dedication, quality reporting, and professionalism to HotAir.com that she has exhibited her entire career."
Tina Korbe was a staff writer at the Heritage Foundation in the Center for Media and Public Policy, the foundation's investigative journalism outlet. She recently traveled to Madison, Wis., to provide eyewitness reporting of the teacher union protests. She also personally interviewed Governor Scott Walker (R-WI). Korbe's experience with the Heritage Foundation will be instrumental in her new role for HotAir.com. She will serve as a blogger, writer, and editor.
Korbe graduated summa cum laude from the University of Arkansas with a degree in journalism and a minor in Spanish. While there, she served as the editor of the campus newspaper and daily news website, the Arkansas Traveler.
