CHATTANOOGA, TN--(Marketwire - Nov 4, 2011) - As part of Rally to Serve -- the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott's nationwide community outreach initiative -- hotel associates, owners, franchisees, and customers work together to help Habitat for Humanity continue building affordable housing for families in need. This fall, the team from the Fairfield Inn Chattanooga will once again participate in a local build with the Habitat for Humanity of Greater Chattanooga.
The staff and management from this Shallowford Road, I-75 Chattanooga hotel, along with members of the corporate hotel ownership company - 3H Group Hotels -- will be participating in the build this November.
In addition to previous builds, this Chattanooga Hamilton Place hotel's team has also donated artwork, mirrors, and other home furnishings to the Habitat ReStore. These retail outlets accept donated goods, which are then sold to the general public at a fraction of the retail price. The proceeds help local Habitat affiliates fund the construction of Habitat homes within their communities.
Rally To Serve is part of the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott's nationwide community outreach initiative, serving the community to benefit Habitat for Humanity International. This year, during the month of October, the Fairfield Inn & Suites brand is challenging its more than 670 hotels to help build at least one home in every U.S. state. Hotels can participate with the program by helping to building houses, volunteering hours at the local Habitat ReStore, donating product from renovations or by making financial donations.
