HousingWire's 2015 Women of Influence

2015 Winners Announced

DALLAS, TX--(Marketwired - Jul 31, 2015) - HousingWire is pleased to announce the winners of its annual Women of Influence list. These 40 women represent every part of the housing economy, from lenders and servicers to real estate agents and housing nonprofits.

This is the fifth year that HousingWire has recognized the women leading our industry forward, and the nominations grow more competitive every year.

"The caliber of the nominations we received this year was really stunning. Women are leading in every sector of the housing economy, and the women we recognized this year had to compete against a formidable roster of executives who are not only excelling in their respective companies, but influencing people and processes throughout our industry," Sarah Wheeler, HousingWire Magazine Editor, said.

The list is full of executives -- from CEOs and CFOs to presidents and executive directors, as well as those serving as senior vice presidents and executive vice presidents. Many of the women who are helming companies also founded or co-founded their companies, while others are leading legacy companies in new directions. The winners had to demonstrate tangible accomplishments in the last 12 months within the context of their companies, but also show influence in the industry at large.

All have one thing in common: They are undeniably Women of Influence.

"The 2015 Women of Influence are innovative leaders who are changing the way the housing economy functions. From developing better processes and solutions to driving legislative change, these women are having a far-reaching impact on the U.S. mortgage market," Wheeler said.

"Every year, the selection process gets tougher, and every year the list gets better," said Jacob Gaffney, Executive Editor of HousingWire. "We recognize the Women of Influence annual accomplishments as a way to promote those who continue to Move Markets Forward."
