HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwire - May 5, 2011) - An innovator and educator, Dr. Evan Collins has for years garnered the respect of colleagues, students and patients alike. But in a rare achievement, he earns a spot on the top physician listings in Texas - while also recognized nationally among Best Doctors in America.

Dr. Collins has for several years been named among the peer nominated Texas Super Doctors and the peer and patient nominated H Texas Top Docs, but this is the first year he has also received recognition from Health & Fitness Sports Magazine's Doctors' Choice and the nationally renowned Best Doctors in America.

Dr. Collins' dedication to research and improving patient care has captured the attention of both national and international orthopedic associations during his 20-year career and now the top physician listings - to which many in the medical community aspire.
