Houston Water Damage Restoration Company H2O Solutions Assists Flood Ravaged Georgia

Flood Damage Company Sends Crew and Equipment to Assist With Emergency

HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwire - October 5, 2009) - Atlanta has been the site of one of the worst floods in United States history, but a Conroe, Texas water damage restoration services firm has responded to the disaster.

H2O Solutions has offered top quality emergency water extraction services to businesses and homeowners in the Greater Houston area. With over 20 years in business, they continue to be a leader in the flood and fire damage clean-up industry.

Due to the intense storm and heavy rainfall in Georgia, the Governor issued a state of emergency for 17 counties. Rising floodwaters shut down three interstates and the storm has accounted for seven deaths to date.

In response to the emergency, brothers Chris and Matt Burk of H2O Solutions dispatched three crews and trucks to northeast Atlanta and Douglas County to assist homeowners whose residences had been flooded. Over 300 pieces of drying equipment were sent, and the crew is expected to remain in the Atlanta area for another week.

"When we saw the extent of the flooding in Atlanta, we knew they were probably not equipped to handle a crisis of that magnitude," said Chris Burk. "We were able to send experienced crews and a fleet of equipment to help homeowners in the city that had extensive water damage."

H2O Solutions has served the greater Houston area through many tropical storms, as well as Hurricane Rita and Ike, which devastated the Texas Gulf Coast last September. The company expanded this year into a new complex twice the size of its previous location. The expansion included the addition of a new fleet of drying equipment, as well as state-of-the-art power distribution equipment necessary to dry water damaged buildings.
