Houston Website Marketing Courses Begin on September 14 at HBU

Houston Baptist University College of Continuing Studies Offers Two Internet Marketing Courses

HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwire - August 11, 2009) - The first of two website marketing courses will begin on September 14 at Houston Baptist University. Offered by the College of Continuing Studies, the courses are designed to provide specific internet marketing skills and awareness.

Businesses in all sectors are relying on the internet as an essential tool to drive traffic to their websites. Website Marketing: Part I and II are two courses designed for the web marketing novice to learn the new developments in web marketing. Part I focuses on the foundations for generating internet visibility and traffic using techniques such as website optimization, internal and external link building and pay-per-click advertising. Part II covers more advanced techniques including press releases, blogging, social media marketing and content development.

The instructors for the web marketing courses are Houston search engine optimization and website marketing specialists, Philip O'Hara and John Holchin of Directory One, Houston's leading website design and search engine marketing firm. O'Hara was a successful advertising consultant for 16 years assisting small business owners generate leads using the Yellow Pages. In 2004, he founded Directory One and has developed a growing number of clients whose businesses have grown as a result of key word rich website marketing.
