Howard Lahti Joins NNKL Board

VANCOUVER, BC -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 24, 2007 -- Nordic Nickel Ltd. (OTCBB: NNKL) is pleased to announce that Howard Lahti has joined the company's Board of Directors.

Howard Lahti has focused on both precious and industrial metals throughout a career that has taken him around the world, from Canada, to South America, to Africa and Asia. In 2006, he visited several properties belonging to Curimining SA, Quito in the Western Mountain Range of Ecuador. He also served as the "qualified person" for a new company called Salazar Resources Inc. that bought the Curimining SA gold properties. In this capacity he prepared two NI43 101 Technical Reports for their two main properties. In 2005 he completed a proprietary geochemical survey for Kitsault Resources in northwest British Columbia and supervised a MMI geochemical survey for a South African company at Victoria Island in the Arctic.

Gary Artmont, Nordic Nickel VP of Exploration, said Mr. Lahti's extensive mining experience should prove beneficial to company growth. "I have worked with Howard in the past and have deep respect for his geological acumen. As we continue to evaluate potential acquisitions for Nordic Nickel much of the information we are reviewing contains large amounts of geochemical data. Howard's experience in this area will greatly assist our interpretative efforts as well as the design of any future work programs employing modern geochemical methods to further delineate nickel-bearing ore bodies."

Early in the 2000s, Mr. Lahti managed drilling and other mineral exploration projects (diamond, gold and base metals) in Ontario, Northwest Territories, British Columbia, Panama, Brazil, Peru and Africa. He also incorporated and ran Deep Search Exploration Technologies Inc. (DSET), a geochemical service company in Fredericton New Brunswick. This company conducted extensive tests to modify SMX (Surface Microlayer Extraction) technology to adapt it to the Canadian soil environment. The new Quantum Dot Extraction (QPX) deep penetrating geochemical method is being extensively used in New Brunswick and elsewhere in Canada.

In the 1990s, Mr. Lahti formed an affiliate consulting company with Dr. Bill Pelton, President of Phoenix Instruments, Inc. located in Colorado. In January 1999, the company conducted two SMX geochemical surveys for Lucero Resource Corp. in the Atacama Desert in northern Chile.
