HR Technology(R) Conference & Exposition Announces Program Details for Fall Event

"World's Best Conference on HR Technology"

HORSHAM, PA--(Marketwire - May 19, 2010) -  Called "the world's best conference on HR technology" by Workday and PeopleSoft founder, Dave Duffield, the 13th Annual HR Technology® Conference and Exposition today announced its 2010 program details. Produced by HRE Conferences, this year's event will be held at McCormick Place in Chicago from September 29 - October 1, 2010.

Entire program details are available at www.HRTechnologyConference.com.

Keynoting the HR Technology® Conference are prominent authors and HR experts Tammy Erickson and Marc Effron. Returning to the event are industry analysts, Naomi Bloom of Bloom & Wallace and Jim Holincheck of Gartner, who will spar in a "point, counterpoint" format on the hottest issues in the industry such as software-as-a-service and workforce analytics and planning. Another highlight of this year's event will be Oracle's public demonstration of its next generation HCM.

Beyond the conference's overall focus on HR technology, the 2010 event will specifically emphasize Talent Management, Social Media and HCM & Workforce Planning. Nearly 40 original, first-time anywhere sessions are scheduled at this year's conference, including presentations by senior executives from Cisco, Kraft Foods, Novartis and United Airlines.

Already registered are HR executives and professionals from Archer Daniels Midland Company, Bank of America, General Electric, Kaiser Permanente, KPMG, Target Corporation, Texas Instruments and Walgreens Co.

The conference's signature event -- the annual product shootout -- has morphed into a dedicated track with four sessions, each featuring two vendors demonstrating their live software to a tough, scripted scenario. To help attendees navigate the twists and turns of talent, Knowledge Infusion CEO, Jason Averbook, will lead four senior practitioners in his fourth annual lively discussion of their talent management initiatives, citing what's worked and what's failed.

The Exposition is expected to include more than 200 vendors of Human Resources software and service. Many companies bring their CEO or other senior executives, giving attendees more than a salesperson's view of their offerings.

Bill Kutik, Technology Columnist for Human Resource Executive® magazine and Conference co-chair, said, "The HR Technology Conference and Exposition is created by experts and delivered by senior HR executives. The event is designed to help attendees get the maximum business benefits from technology and we've developed the best program in 13 years to help make that happen. Many 'firsts' and exclusives occur only at the HR Technology Conference -- it is not to be missed!"
