HROA and SharedXpertise Announce Details of Fifth Annual HRO World Europe Conference

World's Largest and Most Comprehensive HR Transformation Conference Serves as Platform for Executive Networking and Learning

BRUSSELS, BELGIUM and WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwire - June 25, 2008) - HROA, the leading professional organization focused on the challenge of HR transformation, and SharedXpertise, an independent, global membership-based community of business professionals, today announced details of the Fifth Annual HRO World Europe Conference. The largest and most comprehensive HR transformation conference in Europe brings together 350+ senior executives from more than 20 countries who exchange views and experiences on how to transform HR through shared services and outsourcing.

This year's event returns to the Conrad Hotel in Brussels, Belgium from 18 - 20 November. Attendees include more than 25% C-level executives, 42% vice president and director level and 29% managers from the Benelux, the U.K., the U.S., France, Germany, Scandinavia and other European countries.

Sponsored by the HROA Europe Chapter, this year's conference will be the world's only event focused exclusively on the practical needs of HR practitioners on a Pan-European basis. Conference Co-Chair Guy-Joel de Lhoneux, VP Global HR Relationship, Unilever, commented, "We've created an agenda that offers something for everyone. Participants may attend sessions based on the stage they're involved in or interested in learning more about, such as planning and prospecting, transition and implementation, operations or renewal and renegotiation." De Lhoneux is also the Co-Chair of the HROA Europe Chapter.

The Conference will provide a set of highly interactive discussion groups and panel discussions in addition to keynote addresses from Ernie Lareau of DuPont, Elly Bond from ChevronTexaco, and De Lhoneux. The HROA and the conference organizers seek qualified speakers to address a range of topics, including governance, service level agreements, relationship management, global service delivery, and establishing the business case for renewal. Qualified presenters should contact the HROA at events@hroa.org.

Richard Crespin, Co-Chair of HRO World Europe and Global Executive Director of the HROA, shared, "HRO World Europe will feature sessions on managing contractual relationship, measuring satisfaction and identifying best practices for large-market and mid-market buyers. We'll also honor Europe's best at the third annual HROA Europe awards at the very exclusive Palais d'Egmont."

Palais d'Egmont was constructed in the 16th century and totally renovated in the 18th century. The Palace is normally not accessible to the public; however, HROA Europe has arranged exclusive access for HRO World Europe delegates.

Past speakers have included Lucy Kelloway of the Financial Times, Peter LeBlanc of Sun Microsystems, Mari Sako from Oxford University, and Jean-Michel Rale of Rhodia, among many others. Past sponsors have included Accenture, ACS, ADP, ARINSO, Ceridian, Convergys, ExcellerateHRO, EquaTerra, Globoforce, Hewitt, IBM, Kelly Services, Oracle, Randstad, SAP, SHL and TPI.
