Hubbs Machine's SM®-Sphere Mount Series Answers the Question What Is Success?

CEDAR HILL, MO--(Marketwire - August 31, 2010) -  Typically, when you ask people this question you'll get answers like: money, good reputation, a favorable outcome, etc.

In the metrology world, we at Hubbs Machine and Manufacturing, Inc. have taken a foundation up approach and look at the most basic values, the most common denominator, if you will. We believe there is something that we can all agree upon when it comes to defining success and that most common denominator and it is "options."

Hubbs recognizes that when the end user walks up on a new project to measure, that person has a lot of things that must come together properly and sometimes very quickly. The end user wants options quickly, and the more, the better.

That's why Hubbs Machine offers the most diverse line of Close Tolerance Industrial Survey Targeting and adaptive hardware, which allows for the greatest options, more than anyone else in the industry. We offer many options for use with our SM® Series Sphere Mounts. The Sphere Mount was originally designed to accommodate the SMR, for use with the LASER TRACKER. There soon became the need to tie those same points to other metrology systems. Here is a list of the metrology systems that we offer partial spherical type targets for; PHOTOGRAMMETRY SYSTEMS (Both Reflective and Contrast Targets), THEODOLITE SYSTEMS, TOTAL STATION SYSTEMS, PROBE SYSTEMS, and LASER SCANNERS.

It's our focus; it's been our focus for over 25 years and will continue to be our focus well into the future. Like the saying goes, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

The following gives only a very simple example of how Hubbs provides options, interchangeabilities and transparencies between measurement systems. It's our intention to manufacture and provide products to properly support as many measurement systems as possible, not just one or two.
