Hubspan Honored as Finalist for 2011 WTIA Industry Achievement Awards for Second Consecutive Year

Leading Provider of Cloud-Scale B2B Integration Solutions Recognized in Service Provider of the Year Category for WebSpan Connect and Security 360 Products

SEATTLE, WA--(Marketwire - January 11, 2011) - Hubspan, the leading provider of cloud-scale B2B integration solutions, today announced its selection as a finalist for the 2011 WTIA Industry Achievement Awards, a prestigious award recognizing Washington State companies, organizations and individuals who best demonstrate technology, service innovation and excellence. This marks the second consecutive year that Hubspan has achieved a finalist ranking in the Service Provider of the Year category.

Hubspan was nominated based on two new products launched over the past year, WebSpan Connect and Security 360. WebSpan Connect is a suite of cost-effective integration packages designed for companies that need to solve a specific integration challenge, such as electronic invoicing or eCommerce punchout. Hubspan's Security 360 was a platform update focused on next-generation data protection and PCI DSS compliance. Security 360 enhances Hubspan's already strong capabilities in data encryption, key management, access controls and policy enforcement.

"We're honored that our peers in the Washington technology community have chosen Hubspan as a 'Service Provider of the Year' finalist for the second year in a row," said Trisha Gross, president and CEO of Hubspan. "Our focus is to consistently provide customers with innovative, cost-effective B2B integration solutions combined with best-in-class security and expert services, which enable greater business agility and competitiveness."

Hubspan's flagship solution, the WebSpan SaaS Integration Platform, provides companies a flexible, secure and cost-effective way for businesses to collaborate with their communities, and extend existing infrastructure to support a wide range of applications and protocols. Hubspan customers have achieved quantifiable business results, including 20 percent revenue growth, 99 percent order accuracy, and millions of dollars in saved infrastructure costs.

"These finalists represent the most creative and innovative companies and individuals in our industry, and deserve the highest congratulations," said Susan Sigl, president and CEO of the WTIA. "We're fortunate to live and work in a state with such a diverse and vibrant technology community. I wish each finalist the best and look forward to revealing the winners in February."

The 16th annual WTIA Industry Achievement Awards celebrate the brightest companies, individuals and students in Washington that demonstrate outstanding innovation and excellence in creating new technologies, applications and services. Over the past 16 years, a number of noteworthy Washington companies such as Microsoft, Amazon.com, RealNetworks, F5 Networks and Concur have been recognized by the WTIA.

Winners will be determined by a panel of local industry experts, and announced on February 24, 2011, at the awards ceremony, which will be held at the Showbox SODO in Seattle.
