In addition, Hubspan is hosting a webinar titled: Get off the VAN and into Cloud EDI Integration on November 10 at 12:00 p.m. ET/9:00 a.m. PT. The webcast will share firsthand knowledge on how to transform legacy EDI into powerful, cloud-based business integration.

At Cloud Computing Expo, Max and Margaret will provide simple definitions of the cloud and as-a-Service (aaS) platforms, discussing how companies can get started in the cloud, what to look for in an "aaS" vendor, and how to determine the "build versus buy" decision process for your company. The session is a vendor agnostic view on identifying the right cloud business model for any organization by providing real world examples of each consumption model.

Which "aaS" is Right for You?
When: Monday, November 1 from 5:30 - 6:15 p.m. PT
Speakers: Max Coburn & Margaret Dawson
About: Despite all the hype surrounding the cloud, key decision makers still struggle to find answers to simple questions like: "What is the cloud?" "How do I use it and when?" "What should I consider when evaluating cloud solutions, and how do I evaluate cloud vendors?" Plus, the cloud market is punctuated with an alphabet soup of acronyms, such as SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, DaaS and BaaS, with more aaSes introduced every day. This session goes beyond the hype, cloud fluff and acronyms to give real world examples and practical advice on when, how and why to move to the cloud.

At the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) Congress, Ian Huynh, vice president of engineering at Hubspan, will partake in a panel discussion on 25 Cloud Management and Security Challenges. Ian is one of five industry experts on the panel that will discuss some of the existing and upcoming issues that enterprises will confront when implementing cloud computing in-house.
