Hudson High School Hosts 6th Annual Jazz Fest Featuring The Horn Heads

HUDSON, OH--(Marketwire - January 22, 2008) - On Saturday, February 23, 2008 the sounds of Jazz will fill the Hudson High School Auditorium as Jazz Bands from Cuyahoga Falls, Solon, Stow, Wadsworth, Jackson, and the three Jazz Bands from Hudson High and the Hudson Middle School perform.

The public is invited to see these jazz ensembles perform, free of charge, starting at 12 PM and running consecutively through until 4 PM in the Hudson High School Auditorium. The High School is located at 2500 Hudson-Aurora Road, about 1/4 mile west of Stow Road. Each student will also experience instrumental sectional workshops and improvisational clinics.

The Jazz Fest will conclude with a performance by The Horn Heads at 7:30 PM. This group of extraordinarily talented horn players has been gathering international acclaim since 1991. They delight audiences with their artistry, versatility, and precision. They have produced three CDs: "Fat Lip," "5 Heads are Better than 1," and "HornHeads."
