Hudson to Start Drilling in Greenland

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - March 18, 2005) - HUDSON
RESOURCES INC. ("Hudson") (TSX VENTURE:HUD) is pleased to announce that
its diamond exploration program will commence drilling within the next
few days on the Spider Lake anomaly. The final mobilization of the drill
into the field and the set-up of the rig is expected to be completed
tomorrow. Hudson has received the required drill permit from the Bureau
of Minerals and Petroleum, Government of Greenland, necessary to begin
drilling.

Hudson is planning to drill a minimum of 2,000 m of BTW size (42 mm
diameter) core over the next two months. The drilling program is
designed to test kimberlite targets previously identified by geophysics
and till samples. Drill holes are expected to be relatively shallow,
averaging 100 m per hole. The Spider Lake targets have diamondiferous
kimberlite dikes radiating from a deep-seated circular EM anomaly within
the lake (images are available online, www.hudsonresources.ca).

The drill program is a follow-up to last year's field activities that
recovered 151 diamonds from an area the Company identifies as Garnet
Lake. In addition, numerous geophysical anomalies coincident with deep
mantle kimberlite indicator minerals were identified and will be part of
this year's drilling activity.
