DENVER, CO--(Marketwired - Oct 20, 2016) - HumanEyes Technologies, a leader in photographic 3D, computer vision and lenticular graphic arts, today announced the appointment of Jim Malcolm as general manager of North America. With more than 25 years of experience in imaging and virtual reality (VR) markets, Malcolm will use his industry expertise to bring VUZE, the world's first 3D 360° VR camera, which is accessible to both consumers and prosumers, to market with its upcoming, highly-anticipated commercial availability.

The former President and CMO of Ricoh Imaging Americas Corporation and current President of the leading trade association The Imaging Alliance, Malcolm is known for his ability to build and lead successful imaging brands specializing in both traditional and new imaging technologies. Holding prestigious C-Suite marketing and leadership roles, Malcolm has been at the forefront of industry-leading companies pioneering developments in photography and immersive video content creation.

"As we gear up for the commercial availability of VUZE, Jim Malcolm is the perfect choice to lead our North American team's efforts to finally democratize the VR industry, bringing a truly immersive 3D 360° camera option to consumers, prosumers and professionals," said Shahar Bin-Nun, CEO of HumanEyes Technologies. He had a 12-year marketing career at Sony where he was the director of corporate marketing. Malcolm has been a professional photographer for more than two decades.

Malcolm will spearhead HumanEyes Technologies in their mass-market launch of VUZE by overseeing all sales, marketing and retail initiatives.
