Hundreds to Take Part in Zumbathon to Support Help for Heroes

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - March 18, 2011) - 800 local residents are to take part in a two hour Zumbathon, in support of Help for Heroes at David Lloyd Bristol Westbury on March 24th. The club is inviting the local community to take part in this huge event, which will raise money through ticket sales.

The two hour Zumbathon will start at 6.30pm on the tennis courts at the club and organisers have invited participants to join in their Army theme, by wearing khaki.

Camilla Ayrton, Studio Coordinator at David Lloyd Bristol Westbury, says: "We are so excited about this event and it is such a great cause. Please sign up and get involved – we are aiming for 800 participants so we need your help. If we get to 824 we could even beat the World Record for the largest Zumbathon!"

Zumba is the newest craze to hit the David Lloyd gym in Bristol. It is an easy to follow, dance-based workout, which incorporates Latin dance moves and infectious music, which will make for an enjoyable evening out.

Tickets cost £8 for an adult and £5 for a child over 12 (unfortunately under 12's cannot take part). You will also receive a two week free membership to the club with your ticket. Tickets are available at the reception desk of the David Lloyd Leisure club.

For more information please visit the club in Greystoke Avenue, Westbury-on-Trym.
