Huntington Learning Center Announces Latest Winner of the Huntington College Scholarship Sweepstakes

ORADELL, NJ--(Marketwired - Dec 16, 2013) -  Through the Huntington Learning Center College Scholarship sweepstakes, four lucky high school students each year -- one in each quarter -- receive a $500 scholarship to be used for college tuition and fees. Huntington Learning Center announces that the Q3-2013 winner is Rachel Brandenburg of Maineville, OH. Brandenburg is a senior at Bishop Fenwick High School and is planning to attend a local area college where she can combine a strong academic program with her love of music and theater. The scholarship was awarded to Brandenburg by Bob Cestelli, owner of the Huntington Learning Center in Harper's Point, OH.

"I was so excited to learn that I had won the sweepstakes! This scholarship will help toward my college expenses, and I think it is a great first step toward furthering my education. Thanks to the Huntington Learning Center for making this possible," said Brandenburg.

"Huntington is a proud supporter of high school students who strive to attend college, and we are excited to assist Rachel with her college tuition," said Cestelli. The Harper's Point center has been serving the community for over a decade and has one of the strongest Exam Prep programs in the country. Students completing a program average a 200 point increase on the SAT or a 3-5 point increase on the ACT.

In addition to the Harper's Point center, over 200 Huntington Learning Center locations across the country participated in this quarter's Huntington's College Scholarship Sweepstakes. The sweepstakes was open to all high school students aged 14 and older. Students interested in submitting an entry for the Q4 Sweepstakes can enter themselves or be entered by parents, grandparents and friends. Entries are submitted via text message. To learn more about the Huntington Learning Center College Scholarship sweepstakes, visit http://huntingtonhelps.com/contest/.
