Hybrid Produced All Lithium All Terrain Unit Demonstrated Potential of BEV Units as Space Agency Placed Unit into Service

MOORESVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA and WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwire - Sept. 24, 2007) - Hybrid Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB:HYBT) (www.hybridtechnologies.com), emerging leaders in the development and marketing of lithium-powered products worldwide, is pleased to announce that the ATV-LX utilized by NASA under their Space Act was placed into Federal Service during a training mission by the agency.

The ATV-LX developed for military applications has been selected by both NASA (SAA) as well as the United States Navy for Federal service.

The high speed zero emmision unit, powered by lithium ion cells, is now entering the consumer market. It is ready for direct to market consumer sales, and Hybrid is currently selecting suitable retail partners to launch the ATV-LX into the US market by 2008.

Hybrid Technologies based the ATV-LX on previous military units developed for tactical applications with the introduction of a long range, high torque system designed to out perform similar units currently in use. Both the Space Agency and the US NAVY applications of the ATV-LX are a matter of public record and are used in highly visible situations.

Holly Roseberry, President of Hybrid Technologies, Inc., stated, "As we expand our product line to include specific applications developed for the Federal Government we also gain a tremendous market opportunity as our technology has surpassed normal BAA or RFP requirements. We are also pleased to announce that a consumer model will be available throughout the US by the end of this quarter."

Hybrid Technologies originally developed the ATV-LX as part of a SPACE ACT Agreement with NASA. The High speed all terrain vehicles are currently in use at NASA Kennedy Space Center.
