In production news, Hybrid Technologies has commenced the production of a fully lithium Police Smart Car for use in international markets. The new production vehicle to be produced in Mooresville, NC at the new 40,000 sq. ft. facility is scheduled for delivery in June 2006. As part of Hybrid's growing military and government product line the police unit will be the first of its kind in the world and is anticipated to be a key element in Hybrid's growing market segment.

In media and event news, the New York International Auto Show held at the Javits Center April 16-26 will be the stage for the launch of several new production vehicles including the L1X-75 lithium Supercar. Hybrid has already booked several major media events such as Japanese media powerhouse FUJI TV (ABC affiliate) and Nikkei TV. It is anticipated to be the largest media event on record for Hybrid as both national and international media are booked to test-drive the L1X-75. Hybrid is also pleased to announce coverage by Business Week.
