HydroFlo Continues to Expand

RALEIGH, NC -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 4, 2005 -- HydroFlo, Inc. (OTC BB: HYRF) has signed a lease for approximately 4,500 square feet of office space at Reliance Corporate Center in Apex, NC. As a small business in the Raleigh area, HydroFlo has seen a tremendous amount of growth since its beginning in 2000. Its workforce has increased by more than 500%. The company is looking to continue hiring more employees by adding 10 additional staff members within the year. This growth has facilitated the need for a larger office space for the company.

HydroFlo began its business by distributing patented pretreatment devices for industrial wastewater facilities. It became a Business Development Company in 2004 whose core focus is to seek synergistic acquisitions that will provide capital appreciation and income for its portfolio companies. The objectives of the company are to concentrate its resources and efforts on businesses dealing with the treatment and purification of water. The portfolio investment companies currently held include:

HydroFlo Water Treatment, Inc., a business providing pre-treatment of wastewater by use of the PLUS pre-treatment system which provides a treatment process at the municipal pumping stations prior to the wastewater reaching a treatment plant; Metals & Arsenic Removal Technology, Inc., a business providing proprietary and innovative methods and services for the removal of arsenic from drinking water to meet the current EPA requirements of less than 10 parts per billion in drinking water by January 2006; and Safety Scan Technology, Inc., a business that provides methods and equipment for the noninvasive testing of municipal, industrial, and potable water to insure safety.

All of these companies are headquartered out of the same facility and this will continue to be the case in the new building in Apex. Dennis L. Mast, CEO of HydroFlo, commented, "Due to our recent investments and our latest agreement with WAL S.A. to become their distributor of filter and pitcher units in the Americas, our company has expanded far beyond our current 1600 square feet of office space."

HydroFlo, Inc. employees are looking forward to moving to their new location on August 1st. Mast concluded, "By watching the success of local businesses in Raleigh such as the SAS Institute, we find much that we can aspire to emulate."

HydroFlo, Inc. Mission Statement

The mission of HydroFlo is to locate, develop, and fund innovative technologies and businesses and utilize these acquisitions to make pure water available to the world by means of disinfection, purification, and removal of contaminants. It is our belief that water can overcome hunger, disease, poverty, and improve the overall quality of life on earth.
