HYPERICE Announces Newest Recovery Tool, HYPERSPHERE, for Targeted Therapy

The Recovery and Movement Enhancement Technology Experts Introduce a Compact Device for Elite Athletes and Consumers to Improve Overall Performance

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - Oct 20, 2015) - HYPERICE, the leaders in recovery and movement enhancement technology and creators of VYPER, today announces the launch of its newest product, HYPERSPHERE by HYPERICE. HYPERSPHERE is a cutting-edge fitness and recovery device that offers consumers and athletes a combination of targeted pressure and vibration to improve the body's overall performance.

At just two and a half pounds, HYPERSPHERE delivers high intensity and frequency vibration into the body, loosening and lengthening muscles, while increasing range of motion and flexibility. Its spherical shape and compact size is optimal for localized treatment, targeting specific parts of the body, such as glutes, hips, back, shoulders and feet, in addition to being portable and travel friendly. Elite athletes, including Blake Griffin and Lindsey Vonn, are already using HYPERSPHERE for pre and post-training sessions.

"I've been a huge fan of all of the HYPERICE products I've used, and HYPERSPHERE is no different," said American World Cup alpine ski racer and four time champion, Lindsey Vonn. "It allows me to focus on specific parts of my body, which alleviates post-workout soreness. HYPERSPHERE has become a valuable part of my training routine and it helps keep my body in top form."

HYPERSPHERE uses three speed settings powered by rechargeable lithium ion batteries, which give it over two hours of use per charge. The device's stiff, rubber-coated outer shell helps deliver maximum vibration into the muscle. This deep massage increases circulation, helps reduce muscle soreness and stiffness, and acts as an effective tool for myofascial release.

"With HYPERSPHERE, we wanted to offer everyone, from professional athletes to everyday fitness enthusiasts, a convenient tool they can easily throw in bag and use anywhere, whether it be on the courts, outdoors, or in a hotel gym during a business trip," said Anthony Katz, Founder of HYPERICE. "The small shape and size of HYPERSPHERE can be deceiving, but don't be fooled. This device is more powerful than ever."

Studies are currently being done to test for additional uses and benefits of HYPERSPHERE's vibration therapy.

"External vibration creates a peripheral perturbation to the upper extremity causing an increased neural drive to the muscle spindles of the stabilizers of the glenohumeral and scapulothoracic joints," said Dr. Mike Clark, CEO and founder of Fusionetics and Chairman of Hyperice's Scientific Advisory Board. "This enhances joint stability and overall neuromuscular control, and thereby reduces injuries, optimizes performance, and speeds recovery."

HYPERSPHERE retails for $149 and is now available for pre-order here. HYPERSPHERE will be delivered to customers in early December.
