HypZert Quality on the Offensive Abroad

A Further 15 HypZert Real Estate Valuers for Mortgage Lending Valuation

BERLIN--(Marketwire - Nov 28, 2012) - The mortgage lending value is a central element of property valuations for German Pfandbrief (mortgage bond) banks. Mortgage lending valuations require specialist knowledge and expertise, far beyond the level normally required for market valuations.

German Pfandbrief banks and the Federal Supervisory Office (Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht) place a great deal of trust in the HypZert certification system.

As Pfandbrief banks do not only finance in Germany, but also beyond the German borders, HypZert GmbH has also been certifying valuers pursuant to the ISO/IEC 17024 standard outside Germany since 2012. The CIS HypZert (MLV) certificate ensures that a valuer satisfies the requirements of BelWertV (the ordinance regulating the determination of mortgage lending values). The underlying pre-condition for the certification of property valuers for the determination of mortgage lending values -- CIS HypZert (MLV) -- is the possession of specialist knowledge and expertise in the determination of market and mortgage lending values of properties outside Germany.

Since 20th November 2012, a further 15 valuers, who are able to directly determine both market and mortgage lending values of properties outside Germany, have qualified abroad; previously, a service principally provided by German HypZert valuers. This means that there are now competent practitioners in the UK, Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Russia, Finland, the Czech Republic and USA.

Further information on the 'CIS HypZert (MLV)' certificate and all other certifications offered by HypZert can be found at www.hypzert.com.
