IAE Moving Forward for Nearly Three Decades

V2500 Engine Continues as Global Powerplant to Customers

GLASTONBURY, CT--(Marketwire - Jul 9, 2012) - FARNBOROUGH AIR SHOW -- As IAE approaches its years of peak production of its V2500 engine, this consortium of global aircraft engine manufacturers continues to expand its presence.

IAE is a multinational aero engine consortium whose shareholders are comprised of Pratt & Whitney (NYSE: UTX), Japanese Aero Engines and MTU Aero Engines. To date, more than 5,000 engines have been delivered and nearly 2,000 more engines are on order with close to 200 customers around the world.
