Ialta Industries Ltd.: Ivory Coast Commitment For Purchase Order

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 26, 2005) - Ialta Industries Ltd. (CNQ:ILTA) (the "Company") is pleased to announce the receipt of a Letter of Intent from Compagnie Ivoirienne d'Electrcite ("CIE"), to move forward with a first phase 5,000 unit Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) deployment in the Ivory Coast, West Africa. The value of this initial deployment is expected to exceed CAD $500,000, and further validates the use of AMR technology in emerging regions demonstrating increasing electrical demand. This sale is to be completed through Ialta's wholly owned subsidiary, Synaptech Solutions Inc., a global leader provider of in AMR technology solutions with established relationships in twelve countries and a marketing and development agreement with Elster Romentrics S.R.L.

State owned utility CIE is managed and operated by French conglomerate Groupe Bouygues, a multi-national deeply entrenched in Europe, the UK and Africa, providing management services and expertise in the electricity and water utilities as well as civil engineering and infrastructure projects.

CIE approved Synaptech's EMpower AMR system as a result of successful pilot testing concluded in June of this year. Synaptech has received a commitment to move forward with the next phase of deployment from CIE's General Manager, M. Frederic Penin, with the authorization for the utility to proceed with a 5,000 unit first phase AMR deployment in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. With a subscriber base of over 1 million electricity customers in Ivory Coast the full revenue potential is in excess of CAD $100 million for the region. A critical mass reference site established in Abidjan will also allow for effective marketing of Synaptech's EMpower Solution to all the other West African electrical utilities representing over 60 million users. Having established operating pilots in Senegal and the Congo, Synaptech is well positioned to be the dominant Energy Management Solutions provider in the region.
