Building on the incredible success Independent Eyeware has had with MOSCOT in Mexico, and the enthusiasm for the brand in the region, Independent Eyeware will now have exclusive distribution rights for MOSCOT in select countries. Starting in January 2012 The MOSCOT Collections will be available in the best stores throughout Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Colombia.

The MOSCOT Originals Collection, based on styles from the MOSCOT archives from 1930-1970, celebrates the classic good looks and timeless design born in decades past. The eyewear retains the authenticity of the original frame styles including real glass lenses in the sunglasses, traditional hardware, and lens colors that precisely duplicate the true old school colors first fabricated by the Company in the 1940s. The MOSCOT Spirit Collection combines the Company's nearly 100 years of eyewear expertise with its downtown New York City heritage to create clean, comfortable, wearable frames. The Collection honors the MOSCOT Originals by reinterpreting classic design elements that look great on all face shapes and sizes. The Collection is available as ophthalmic eyewear or sunglasses, with or without a prescription, in a variety of frame and lens color combinations and sizes, and features the Company's branded "M" on the temple tips.
