IAQA Launches New Website

The new site is easier to navigate than its predecessor. Buttons flanking both sides of the page are grouped logically so that both industry professionals and consumers can quickly gain access to the information they need.

Among the most exciting new features of the IAQA website is the Career Center. Job hunters can post resumes for free and employers can post job listings for a modest fee. The Career Center is open to both IAQA members and non-members, though members receiving discount pricing on job postings.

Other great resources at include:

--  An Education section that provides information regarding more than 100
    courses and events scheduled between now and the end of 2006.
--  A Chapter section showing locations of chapters, their directors, and
    local meeting schedules.
--  Information about IAQA's Insurance Program offering discounted
    premiums for liability, errors and omission, and other kinds of business
--  The "IAQ Resource Center" including links to related associations,
    government agencies, and lists of publications about IAQ.
The IAQA website also features a searchable database of IAQA's more than 5,500 members. In the coming weeks, additional filters to the search mechanism will be implemented so that consumers can search the membership for specific types of consultants, contractors and product manufacturers. Visitors will also be able to filter their searches by those who hold industry certifications.
